Simin Wei

Simin Wei is a highly experienced practitioner with over 20 years in the medical field. Originally from China, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Luzhou Medical School and continued her studies at Huaxi Medical University in Sichuan Province.

Her early medical career included work in several specialised hospital units such as Neurosurgery, Gastrointestinal, Breast and Liver Cancer, High Nutrition, and Kidney Transplant. She later advanced to teaching clinical sciences to nurses and training junior doctors in injection and venepuncture techniques. Simin also contributed to research in both modern medicine and Traditional Chinese herbal applications.

After moving to England, she gained further experience at St Mary’s Hospital (now part of Imperial College London) in the Gastrointestinal, ENT, and ICU departments. Observing many patients with chronic conditions that did not improve through conventional medicine inspired her to pursue a more natural approach through Traditional Chinese Medicine.

She completed three years of study in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine in the UK, supplemented by clinical training in China. Her practice combines the classical principles of Chinese Medicine — such as those found in Huang Di Nei Jing and Zheng Jiu Da Cheng — with modern medical understanding.

At the Advanced Pain Relief Clinic in Milton Keynes, Simin provides TCM acupuncture and herbal treatments for pain syndromes, internal health issues, fertility support, and IVF-related care. She also receives referrals from medical consultants for back pain and headache management.

Simin is a member of the British Fertility Society and holds multiple diplomas and certifications in:

• Auricular Acupuncture for stress, addiction, and rehabilitation

Outside of her clinical work, Simin enjoys cooking, gardening, sports, and spending time with her family.
