Jonathan Grendelmeier

Jonathan grew up in Switzerland, where an early exposure to chiropractic inspired his passion for helping people in pain. After a successful career in financial services and serving as a corporal in the Swiss military—training recruits in combat and first aid—he decided to pursue chiropractic at the AECC University College in Bournemouth, graduating in 2000 with an award-winning thesis on patient experience and exercise adherence.

He registered with the General Chiropractic Council in 2001 and spent a decade at the Blackberry Orthopaedic Clinic, progressing to a senior role. During this time, he began integrating acupuncture into his treatments and went on to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Western Medical Acupuncture at the University of Hertfordshire. His studies also include medical and traditional acupuncture at Coventry University and the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine.

Jonathan has lectured on Western Medical Acupuncture and cranial paediatric care to healthcare professionals, charities, and university societies. Since 2002, he has specialised in Sacro-Occipital Technique and Craniosacral Therapy, with a particular focus on treating babies, children, pregnancy-related discomfort, sinus pain, and chronic headaches through gentle cranial manipulation.

Outside the clinic, he enjoys trail running, ultra-distance events, and spending time with his family in Milton Keynes. A former school governor, he also volunteered at the London 2012 Olympic Games and with medical teams supporting Masters Athletics in Birmingham.
